My own darling Jenny. Our love for each other is a beautiful thing it kept growing like a beautiful garden, you are the only person I have ever truly loved. From the moment we first met, you sitting in the entrance of the Newlands pub selling tickets to the disco and me with Derek who came to see his cousin Chris I new that you were the girl for me. I never went into the disco that night, I spent the entire evening talking to you in the foyer. I came back the following week and did the same and I think it was on my third visit that you and Chris had an argument and he stormed off. Fortunately you accepted my offer of a lift home and invited me in for a coffee, it was the start of the most wonderful relationship. Just being with you gave me such joy and when we were apart, luckily never for more than a few hours I always had the pleasure of knowing that we would soon be together again. I have been very lucky to have been with you for all this time and you have made me very happy and I know that you were happy too. I just wish we could have had more years together and perhaps done some of the things you wanted to do that we never got round to but no regrets, carpe diem. I will love you for ever my darling, Pete.
